Years in the Industry? TWH owner 14 yrs.; TWHBEA member 7 yrs.

Why do you want to serve on the TWHBEA National Board? To participate in making much needed positive changes in the breeders organization and to promote the breed in my region. I want to represent the TWHBEA members in Georgia in all aspects of the Tennessee Walking Horse --both the pleasure horse and the performance horse.

A little about myself:I am an emergency room physician and a TWH owner, breeder and exhibitor and reside in Bainbridge, GA with my 15 yr. old daughter, Haley Lane who is also active in the industry. I am active in the Georgia Walking Horse Exhibitors Association and I currently serve as treasurer and chairman of the youth committee of that organization. My love for horses was apparent at a very young age and I have been riding horses essentially all of my life. My introduction to walking horses was with a pleasure horse that was given to me as a gift 14 yrs ago. My daughter and I began showing performance horses 7 years ago and this has become an important part of our lives. An avid trail rider, I spend countless hours with my pleasure horses on the trails of South Georgia. Our farm in Bainbridge is also home to brood mares, a breeding stallion and weanlings and yearlings. So as you can see, my involvement with the TWH is significant. What may have started out as a hobby has actually become a business and a passion for our family.

Other Comments: Your support and vote will be appreciated for my election to the Georgia board position.
