Years in the Industry? 25
Why do you want to serve on the TWHBEA National Board? I want to serve on the TWHBEA board because I believe that we as an industry need to make serious changes within the breeders. Also I will listen to what members of Kentucky have to say and try my harderst to help them have a voice.
A little about myself: I have been involved in the Tennessee Walking Horse business all my life. My family has been involved in the breed for over 3 generations. When I’m not at the barn I’m either showing, teaching lessons, going to the sales, hitting the trails or running the Kentucky Walking Horse Breeders Incentive program. I am a currently a Certified Riding Instructor and have taught lessons for over four years. Many of my students have purchased their own horses and continue to show enjoying the breed. Showing has always been a passion that I have pursued. I have been showing horses since I was five years old and have won one world champion title and the Country Pleasure World Grand Championship. My latest task that I have taken on is running the Kentucky Walking Horse Breeders Incentive Fund. This is a state wide program that helps and benefits all Walking Horse owners. Currently we have $320,000 in incentive funds for all Tennessee walking horse members. This program has had a huge effect on the breed in Kentucky and I can only predict that we will have many more successful years in the future. I have accomplished my positive achievements since I been involved in the breed. The Tennessee Walking Horse breed is something that I will forever be involved in, so please vote for me and I will continue to contribute positive effects to our breed.
Other Comments: Your votes will be appreciated and I hope I can serve on the board and help "Free to Breeders".
